| Dear Rin, I want to let you in on my thought as I am thinking them. Thoughts that I am forming out of thoughts that are forming me. Maybe this is the true understanding of the word ‘information’. You had the experience of learning so many ideas that you felt that your head was too big to carry. It was something that was carrying a heavy load. It was information in the sense that it is usually meant like a stack of papers or a file of data that you can look up. Probably many good ideas that also seeped into your consciousness but because, as you said, your education was by roe, memorization of knowledge, a lot of it stayed in blocks, like blocks of wood, so heavy to carry and so the shooting stars gave you your wish and your heart rose up into your heart rose up into your head and made images, beautiful images that make impressions on people consciousness. This is your gift to the world. Now I want to tell you what I am thinking. One of the reasons I want to tell you is that you help me think. In mush of my thinking I am talking to you. So this is a ‘telling’. It is not a ‘saying’ I will do this or I will do that but a telling of thoughts as I am thinking. Do you remember I said on new years 2007 “something new” and Lizzy said “Dad, what are you going to do, you’re 57years old, you are an artist.” O.K. Lizzy, I don’t know, but it was such an experience, not something made up. What was it? Now Rin, I have to digress in order proceed. For several years I studied astrology. Quite a few years actually. For many it is a life study and practice. For me I found one principle which holds true. I call it astrological fact, or unseen phenomena. Some are big, some are small and fleeting. Right now a really big one is happening to me. I will call it ‘transformation of the matrix of life of feeling’. It coincides wit the death of my mother. (I’ll spare you the astrological language). Yesterday, July 4, was another new years day, called Independence. Underneath everything false in USA. There is an ideal. What happened to this ideal? Every morning in the classroom, as children, trusting children, we would stand up and look up at the red white and blue flag that was in the front of the class room. We would put our hand over our heart and say in unison these words. “I pledge my allegiance to the flag of the united states of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” A child cannot say such words, standing with hand over heart, day after day, for many years, without having something seep down deep within. INFORMATION. But do you see that it is stated backward? Really the hand over the heart is the ideal “Liberty and Justice for All” This is the key. The flag, the Republic, the Nation those are meant to represent the ideal and when they do not, they have failed. They have failed the ideal on which they are founded. Liberty, true liberty, inner and outer, is the precondition, and is really the same as peace. Justice, true justice, the balance of the human condition shared by all, can only become by deeds of love. We are becoming. All of us becoming. What they didn’t know is that in a whole generation children the ideal of “Liberty and Justice for All” would not go away. (conscience) Remember now I am thinking to you Rin. Thinking, talking, I think I have something to do. Freedom and Justice for all is an ideal. It is not an invention. Ideals are alive. They are not abstraction. Children understand. My brother Fred told a story about his daughter Ariela when she was three years old. Someone had a goat on a tether and he was going to slaughter the goat and eat it. Ariela untied the goat and let it go. The man said “you can’t do that, it’s my goat” and she responded. “No, it’s my goat because I love it”. That’s a good story to leave off on. I’m asking myself, “What’s my goat?” Love and Peace, George |
