Dear Rin

Here I am at the Frida Kahlo exhibit at SF MOMA. Her paintings are so
controlled and articulate but at the same time are filled with a primeval
force of nature. Some of the portraits, so very still but so full of
expression. It is something that comes through and there you are face
with it---or heart to heart.
