Dear Rin,
Creativity, like light, cannot be grasped. Therefore it can hardly be
spoken of. Art is a cultural happening and open for discussion,
philosophizing, opinion. Creative artists often experience the “I don’t
know” because they are in the flow of it.
First I have the vision and then the inspiration to do it. But then it
disappears and it is all will. I have to find it through intuition. It’s taken
me my whole life to understand that is way it is. There is nothing wrong
with losing the vision. In fact, it is essential for creativity.
It is such a joy, such a comfort, to have a creative companion. To be
able to confide in you and to hear your own experience in this world of
creativity. The great open secret is, Life is creative. Creativity is life.
