"a-void-me"      by Rin (08/13/2007)
Dear George,

How are you?
I apologize for my long absence. I was pondering. ..so many
keywords and images in my brain have taken me to some kind of
mind trip for a long time, maybe too long.    Longer it goes, the
thoughts seem to become blurrier. It was fun and a little exciting at
the beginning, and then I have lost the path at the some point …

Well, let’s get back to our conversation.

It is interesting to read your thoughts from New York.
My US experience started from New York over 2 decades ago.
I always love the energy of New York.
But I must confess that I have not found any art galleries to recall.
I like what you said
‘people need art like they need apples and pears. It is nutritional. It
supports life. The social or philosophical message is not what is
primary but something more fundamental which one takes in
through the senses and feeds the soul’

I think Art is like ‘noise’. We might be just making noise primitively.
We can guess about the meaning of it, but we will never know the
actual reason. Maybe each has own direction (purpose) to keep
going, but those may not be the reason.

I feel your journey.
I see you are searching your direction in the scenes coming through
you.
I believe every little bit will help.
I can’t stop wondering what this journey is all about.
Is it to find or to get lost?
Why are we in this maze?
How we got in here?

To make the questions go away is impossible, but tuning into the
sounds we feel right is very possible.

My response this time is:
“a-void-me”

with you,
