| I met this beautiful gentleman George Marshall at ArtWalk 2006. He took a long time to see each of my paintings and picked one of my small hand printed work from a small box, which is not many people found interesting. He told me that he agree with my statement "art is communication". Days later, George wrote me a meaningful letter with his little color work. I wrote back with my small drawing...this is how our communication started. I always have this dilemma that I have so much feeling inside but my ability to put on words is so poor.I can't find the right word for the things that I really want to tell. George suggested "what if we actually created a conversation between us of color and form?A real correspondence,a conversation..." No.48 after visiting ARTWALK2008 from George(04/28/2008) A long story is also a short story, a short story also an image, an image a song. There is a bird singing inside of me, a bird of many colors, of many songs, and like a bell ringing from the mountains, its resonance has no end. About religion I can tell you the long story in a word. I was looking for love. It is unfortunate that people wanted to put her in a cage. Does it matter which cage it is? Religion is a good thing as long as the door is kept open. Today I do not say dear Rin, or love and peace, George, because, right now, I am more you than me, or, both are nothing but the sound-of-bell deep in the mountain. Do I hear your murmer? Yes, it is everywhere. |
